Gaijin
Kanji 外人
Hiragana がいじん
There
is an interesting word in Japanese (for me) that is “Gajin”. I heard it for the first
time when I watched “Too Fast Too Furious: Tokyo Drift”. What does it mean?
It means “a foreigner” , “a person who does
not belong to speaker’s group”, or “A PERSON WHO STANDS OUTSIDE THE CIRCLE”.
All right, then, why am I interested in it?
I have no reason. We DON’T have to have a
reason to interested in something, do we?
