The first observation today was done in Grade 7-Hydrogen with Mam Mae Ann Paglingayen. We came late to class because Susan printed her lesson plan
in the students’ organization room. I asked one of the college students there
to write my greeting for students of PPG SM3T V. We were unable to see how Mam
Mae Anne began her class. We arrived when she was instructing students to work
in group to match definitions with words. After that students drew picture that
described the lesson theme, which was “My World, Our World”.
The students brought their coloring pencils as Mam Mae Anne
instructed the day before. She gave students ten minutes to finish their
picture. When the time was up, she asked students to post their drawing on the
black board. Most of the groups drew the earth, but there was one group that
intended to draw the flag of Philippines. It was a pity that they did not
finish their drawing.

Mam Mae Anne then asked one representative of each group to
describe their pictures especially about how it depicted their life and their
world.
The rest of the class time was used to discuss the text the
students read before class. It was entitled “ How the World Begins”. The
teacher gave some comprehension questions orally. The class was ended after
they conclude the moral lesson of the story.
The Last observation for the week was in Grade 10 with Ms
Cherry Joy F. Mejia. The theme of class discussion is Greece and Greek. The
teacher presented some pictures and discussed with students what they knew
about those pictures. Students have read text related to the theme before
class.
Then, Mam Cherry assigned students to work in group. Their
task was to complete a chart posted in front of the class.
In the end of the class, the teacher asked students to sit
in group planning what Greek culture they were going to perform next week.
