How to Fix Keyboard Errors on ASUS Laptop

I experienced errors on my keyboard several times a few days ago. I could not type "K", "C", "Q" and "." when I was on a deadline to finish my articles for work. After browsing, I found some ways people suggested to solve the problem. They included restarting, Windows Recovery, installing an app called DriverDoc, updating keyboard driver or even using external keyboard. I tried all except the last one, none was fruitful.
Then, after reading that battery can cause such errors, I uninstalled the control method battery of my laptop. Surprisingly, the keyboard came back to normal. The problem is when I shutdown my laptop and then turn it on, the control method will be installed back. Therefore, I need to do the steps again. I hope there is a way to get rid of the error permanently.
For all people with the same problem, the followings are the steps to solve it temporarily:

1. Open Control Panel
2. Select Device Manager
3. Click Batteries
4. Right-click on ACPI-Compliant Control Method
    Battery
5. Select Uninstall

The error will be resolved. You can redo the action (install the control method back) by clicking scan for changes icon on the right edge of icon menus. Good luck.
